About 20 cm wide and deep per plant, in my experience. Or, as Beattie says, "No." : )

Sorry it sounds a bit abrupt - I couldn't think of any meaurements, but they're childs play to get out if they're escaping from where you want them.

Once youve grown them theyll come up again seasonally, which I like , through self seeding.
