Plant ID, please. These have come up, and I haven't a clue. They get to about 2 inches before the baby leaves open, and I did see a roundish brown seed about 3/8 " across. These plants are about 2 months old.

It is indeed a Euphorbia, can never remember the name but it is a dreadful seed weed in this garden.

It's Gopher Spurge (Euphorbia lathyris). Usually a weed, but some people let it stay in their vegetable gardens to repel gophers and moles.

Thanks - but we have no gophers, moles, or even snakes. Every so often I'll see a hedgehog, but those are considered good luck. :)
