My Tasmanian fern has been frost damaged here in Great Rissington in the Cotswold's. We put bubble wrap around the top....but forget the roots. No signs of any news fronds and the middle looks 'soggy' and rotten? Will it be totally DEAD or could it sprout from lowere down? Our Cordylines all died. :-(
I am hoping for a miracle as it was transported from Norfolk in 2009 and survived the previous winter.

Even with proper protection, this last winter was sudden and cold enough for this type of plant to be severely affected if left outside. I suspect it's a goner, unfortunately.
