Can you advise on how to grow sisyrinchium striatum from seed taken from a previous years flower. Thanks

Answers
Stopping them self seeding is more of a problem for us. When the seeds germinate and it is time to pot them on, do not plant the base of the leaves below soil level, they rot very quickly if you do.

Advice with seed is 'sow in a cold frame in autumn or spring'. You can divide the plants too to increase stock.
