Well I have to say it looks like Philadelphus - I hope its not, because its in completely the wrong place if it is - this is a shrub that gets around 6 feet high by about 5 feet wide.

Lol. Thanks Bamboo. You're an angel. Hope you're enjoying the sun. I remember buying one years ago. Nothing doing until this year. The pots only 12inch deep too.lol. Any suggestions?

Funnily enough, I'm enjoying looking at the sun, but its far too hot for gardening, which is really annoying - its my fault for being old and not able to cope in the heat any more, lol!
If that plant's in a pot, no problem, find somewhere else to plant it where you've got space for it. Or get a bigger pot, say 2 feet deep and 12 inches wide as a minimum, and stand somewhere else, preferably a sunny spot, although some fairly rigorous pruning will be necessary if you keep it in a pot.
