I was just wondering if anyone has come across a daffodil which does not have a 3D trumpet.
The one pictured below was photographed in a communtiy planter just a couple of minutes from where I live and instead of a 3D trumpet, it looks like someone printed them on instead.
I have never seen one like this before.
HAs anyone else seen one like this?

I don't have any in my garden, I have to say i do prefer the ones with 3D trumpets. I just thought it was unusual.

I have several that are like this, bought as gifts over the years. the joy of a birthday in september.

Alex the trumpet is still 3D just not what you are used to seeing. There are 12 different daffodil divisions all different.

That is a Division 11 split corona daffodil, not one I personally like but each to their own.
