Is it too late to move, Verbascum Olimpium?
Thanks!

It's about 20in high and about 2ft across. It was put in the ground last aug/sept. I don't know why I planted it there, it's right in front of Helianthemum 'Lemon Queen' which is also yellow, a bit of a clash I think!

Well, I think it would be a gamble and it's up to you. Is it self sown or did you pay real money for it? If it was expensive, leave it. If it was free / cheap move it if you can keep it watered while it settles in again. If you decide to move it, take as big a root ball as you can.

I think it was about £2.50! But it's a shame for the life of the plant, if it dies! I'll give it a few more days of thought.
Thank you, for all your help, it's much appreciated!

It will probably flower and die this summer - in which case you could collect seed and sow it where you'd like it to grow, having given it a bit more thought. Probably the best option.

How big is it and how long has it been where it is? Verbascum olympicum gets pretty big. I've got one that's in its second year and it's at least four feet across. I haven't investigated its roots, but I'd expect them to be quite extensive.
