how do i keep seeds collected from plants grown in my garden, tried it the other year without success, I saved geranium fushia marigold and other seeds from my bedding plants without any germinating whatsoever.

They also may not have been pollinated even though 'seed' was produced. Or sometimes our summers are too short for them to mature properly. Keep seed in paper envelopes, labelled and then in an old ice cream tub in the fridge, not in the greenhouse or shed.

I did keep them as suggested in paper in tupperware in the fridge,so I think maybe the sterile solution is right , someone else also mentioned this. Thankyou!
