Does anyone know what this plant is? I bought two at Home Depot yesterday to put next to some hostas and coral bells. The tag just has a generic "1 qt. perennial, part sun" tag, and the plant code link on their website wasn't any more specific. I've looked through some of my gardening books and the only thing that come close is a ligularia. Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like one of my favourite plants, if it has blue flowers, I'd say it was Brunnera macrophylla. Mine have been in flower since the end of March, so I'm a bit concerned that yours aren't. The flowers look breathtaking above those leaves.

I'd confirm Brunnera, maybe 'Jack Frost' as it has even white markings, like a sheen over most of the leaves but with normal green veins.
Bernard, don't forget we don't know where Rjs is - I'd guess the States - and many areas would be colder and have a later spring than we do.

It may be a type of Brunnera but not exactly sure.? Julien.
