I've put some wild flowers down next to mixed gladioli. Can you suggest another plant(s) which would complement these in the border?

Depends what the wild flowers are

For the front of the border how about the low growing geranium sanguinium? It is closely related to the wild variety so would blend in nicely. I find the pink flowers more freely than the white, and it keeps going for months.
As the flowering season of gladioli is rather short you will want something that will look good the rest of the summer.
Veronica, achillea, one of the blue geraniums such as Johnson's Blue or Brookside, (these are all pernnials) and possibly some antirrhimums, which you can usually buy as bedding plants but which will often go on for several years.

How do I say thanks?
