Nearly as much of a seed weed as Muscari armeniacum.

I bought both types last autumn and planted them, Owdboggy. And found that after an initial nibble, rabbits despise them almost as much as you do. ;-)
So, at least that's something I can grow.

The only snag is they seed, and seed, and seed… you get the idea!

I did not say I disliked them............But you really do need to dead head them once they have finished if you do not want them all over the place.

This year I'll be grateful if mine increase, but I'll remember that for later years, Owdboggy. I wish I'd deadheaded ALL of the purple toadflax in the garden last year - it's coming up thickly all over the sunny part of the garden.

« Can anyone tell me if this a weed or not? If not, what plant is it? Thank you!
Muscari latifolium. It's a form of grape hyacinth with two tone flowers.
