East facing wall

i have a large (10ft high X 12yards long) wall bordering my garden. The wall is east facing and I am seeking advice on what i can plant against it to try and cover it a bit. I thought of training climbing roses over it but I thought maybe they may not get enough sun. Can you recomend any suitable varieties or alternatives?

Hi John. A question was asked about plants for a north facing wall just a couple of days ago. If you go back to it then there are a few suggestions that would be fine in an east facing location. There really are loads of others and any shade/semi-shade loving climber would be fine, depending on your soil type and character.
