I have to take out two large shrubs which are dying. Around these shrubs are many daffidils that are just over flowering. Do I take these out and replant immediately or should I let them dry out and replant in the Autumn

If you want them where they are I think I would just put them straight back in and then let their foliage die down naturally over the next few weeks so you get a good show again next year.

Whichever is more convenient for you but do let the daff foliage die back first. If you cannot allow the bulbs to remain where they are, either pop them in a pot to die back or heel them in somewhere else.
