Ihave a small leaved holly in a pot which is only just now starting to lose its leaves although it is producing what look like this years flowers so it isnt dead, could it need a feed or transplanting maybe

I agree with the above. Holly plants are evergreen and don't lose their leaves like that. Needs water and repotting and a jolly good feed! :)

It shouldn't be losing all its leaves - the odd one or two on a small plant are normal, but if they're all going, I'd say its suffered drought conditions. Turn it out of its pot, check the rootball to see if its potbound, pot on into a larger pot in fresh compost and give it a good soaking, standing in a tray initially. Empty the tray after a few hours if there's any water left in it, the plant needs good drainage, but keep it well watered.
