Hello! I have a raised bed in which I am thinking I would like to underplant euonymous fortunei with a selection of white tulips and aliums. Would this work?

Personally, I have Euonymous with Primroses and Primulas in my shady border. I have Tulips, Alliums, Fox Grape etc in a separate, full sun border - underplanted with small shrubs (currently California Lilac, a pygmy rose and a small Blueberry plant) and herbs - Chive works well with Tulips and Alliums.

I have the common pink lamium maculatum under euonymus fortunii emerald'n gold. Its a lifesaver in a narrow shady dry bed where not much flourishes. If your bed is sunny your idea sounds nice but leaves you with a lot of time with no flowers.

How do I say thanks?
