Espalier Apple & Pear Trees

Please can you recommend an apple and pear tree to grow espalier, in very sunny position. I would prefer smaller varities, due to limited space of 3 metre width for each tree. Thank you

I can't recommend a variety, its such a personal thing, depends which ones you like the taste of, but I do recommend you visit Keepers Nurseries website - they specialise in fruit trees, and have a lot of information on their site about root stocks, espalier, bush and cordon trees and which are suitable for what.
