How can I prune my Sarcococca Hookeriana var. digyna to suit my small garden. It is thriving and sending up lots of new shoots, but I need to be able to keep it in proportion to my small south-west facing garden?

If you don't want it to spread too far, dig out and remove any suckering growth around it. Prune back as and when necessary, but not past mid July. You may find that flowering is reduced if you prune it later than, say, end of May, mid June.

How do I say thanks?
