Can't see the first one well enough to tell. We'd need a close-up of leaves and flowers if there are any.
I agree the second one is Photinia. Looks a bit leggy - are you wanting to grow it as a tree or a bush?

I will get a close up of the first one as soon as possible. I havent touched the second one since we moved into the house and it has been like this since so i presume it is growing as a tree. It actually looks really nice where it is, so think i will leave it as a tree, what do you suggest?

The shrub is Photinia fraserii "Red Robin" and the tree looks like it might be a flowering cherry , a Prunus, but others may be more helpful on that one
