My Tulip, Daffodil and Crocus bulbs have now finished flowering, what do I do now, should they be pulled out and stored away until the autumn, or should I leave them in?

Leave everything for a few weeks and let the foliage die down naturally. That is the way to get the best show from them next year. I know it means that things are a bit untidy for a while but it is the best thing to do.

Normally leave them till the leaves fall off. You could leave all of them in the ground over winter if your soil is well drained.

And feed the bulbs with half strength tomato fertiliser whilst the foliage is dying back.

How do I say thanks?
