I want to add some flowers to my garden to give it some colour before the photographer comes to take pictures, as I am selling my home. What would you suggest? I thought of potted tulips that have not yet bloomed? anything else you might suggest? With the warmth with the rain, I am sure they will open in time for photos on Monday...what do you think?

There are lots of polyanthus/primulas in the shops/GCs just now, they'll provide lots of cheap colour in an instant.
... ah just noticed you're in Canada - so that's probably not much help....
.... have a look in your local GCs for some cheap and cheerful bedding plants......

i would suggest the same just pop into local garden centre and see what they have flowering at the mo. if pos keep them in pots so you can take them with you when you move money not wasted then. or do any freind s have a few colourful pots for the meantime.

thanks very much to all...i went with some Tulips that had not bloomed yet, anticipating warmth and rain. They should pop by Monday.

Previous question
Go along to your local garden centre and see what they have in flower, buy and place/plant strategically...
