I believe I have Morchella conica growing in my front garden. I understand this is not a common occurrence. Can you give me any information?

Yes they are uncommon, normally grow on soil with trees.
They are edible, and the morchellas usually appear in Spring. Their common name is morel. If you do decide to eat it make sure you clean the pores properly!
