We have one Moorpark Apricot tree and two pear trees all were planted last year but we have had NO blossom on any of the trees we also planted at the same time cherry trees, apple trees that have flowered and we can now see the fruit forming but the apricot and pear trees, even though they look really healthy and are growing well I can not see any signs of fruit of any of them. Could anyone help. Thank you

Normally, I would consider any fruit produced by any fruit tree less than three years in the ground to be a pleasant surprise. If they try to fruit the first summer after planting, it is even better to pick all the young fruit off...if you can stand to!

They will be using all their energy to grow good root systems. It is very difficult and sad, but you should not let any newly planted fruit trees fruit in the first season, so that all their energy can go below ground. If you can't bear to remove all the fruit just leave yourself one !-
