Ive just ordered some Arum Lily bulbs. May 2011. What is the best way to plant them, and keep them to encourage growth etc?

They are normally potted in Apr-May in a greenhouse or sunny window then placed outside when frost is over (normally late May)- they are from ZA so will not tolerate frost. This means that you need to bring them inside before first frosts in Sept/Oct. They will have flowered by them off course. I normally plant them in a terracotta pot as it is easier for me to know where they are and to note to bring them in.
To encourage growth feed with a general plant feed every few weeks, weekly when the buds appear and flower.
