Has anyone put their hanging baskets outside yet?

No, I haven't put the baskets out yet. I usually wait until the end of May. Trouble is, there are always high winds just after I put the baskets out and I get so annoyed seeing them get bashed about. My baskets are made up and in the greenhouse but this year my plug plants from GardeningDirect have been pretty weedy. My friend's are the same. The plants are not making much progress. They did send me replacements but they are no better. Won't be using them next year.

I'm in Aberdeen Pdb, so you might be ok. Maybe take them in on a clear night, just in case of frosts though ....

When we were over in Germany it was not unusual to see the householders drape their outdoor baskets and balcony pots with old lace curtains to keep off the frost.

I always put mine out mid April and never seem to be bothered by late frost damage.

I haven't risked it yet, and I've a south facing balcony in west London. We're still getting some chilly nights, down to 5 deg C tonight for instance. Recommended time for putting summer bedding out is end of May, and I still recall the year we had frost overnight on 4th June - all survived except the busy lizzies, which were damaged by it.

I planted out my hanging baskets straight away when we had that lovely early summer a few weeks ago. Because of the frost last night i took the precaution of bringing them under my pergola and grouping them together with my tomato plants which were wrapped up in a fleece. They were all ok this morning so back up they went. Will just bring them under cover again if another one threatens. Extra work but worth it in the long run.
