Hi, I have a twisted hazel, it has produced a sucker at the bottom of the stem, which appears not to be twisting, do I cut it off or will it twist eventually?
Thanks

I have a twisted hazel and these suckers are a nuisance but i too have to just cut them off as close to the base as possible.

Remove it as close to the point of origin as possible. All Twisted Hazels are grafted on to straight Hazel rootstock. What you have is a sucker and it will eventually outgrow the twisted Hazel.
