Unless you've got acres of it, why don't you just pull it up. It's very easy as the root system is quite small and it won't need superhuman effort to remove it. It flourishes in my woodland garden and I enjoy it up to the flowering stage, after which it takes very little effort to remove it and it makes lovely compost. Spraying with weedkiller is overkill and would be impossible in my garden without causing great harm to surrounding plants and the environment.

Weedkiller won't work anyway, well, not unless you use something which will kill everything else as well. Dig them out, getting out all the bulbs and bulbils as you go.
