What is happening to my Mind Your Own business plant?

I have this plant in doors and it sits on top of a vase that containes water, at first it grew vwey well and had new shoots but now it looks like its dying with a very black centre HELP!

I think it may be waterlogged.. I suggest you repot it in Universal compost or its equivalent with not too much fertilizer. , making sure there is good draiage to the container , and in good light.
