Actually, if you read the sign behind the leaves it tells you that it is Love-in-a-Mist, a plant that I have not heard of for many years.

i suggested this might be nigella sativa on an early question and thats what I think it is. its not like the N damascena that i grow, its too 'thick' and looks more achillea like.

Love-in-the-Mist is the common name for N damascena which this isn't. Think SBG has got it N sativa

I have Love-in a mist it seeds it self all over my garden and I love it, but these leaves are not it I to think its SBG's Nigella sativa.

Thanks for the reply. Well, I guess its tagged wrongly in the nursery. Will come to know when (if) it blooms.
Just curious, can Nigella Damscena seeds be sown now.

I'd have thought it was a little late to be sowing annual flower seeds. But you can always try.

So far they appear to be the juvenile leaves of Nigella damascena--I'm not familiar with N. sativa. The flowering stems with the adult leaves, which are much finer textured than the juvenile leaves, will appear later, once the first rosette has finished growing.
