What do I do with primroses in the summer? I created a small rose bed with half a dozen rose bushes, and underplanted with primroses. They have finished flowering, are growing beautifully, but in the way now until the spring. Should I lift and pot them then replant in the autumn?

If they're in the way now, yes - otherwise pop them into a shady corner somewhere, keep watered, and move them back later if you want.
