I think that it is a lily but I think that you would be better waiting until it is in flower, Scotkat, and asking again.

from the leaf form I suspect it is probably martagon. does it have a dusky pink turks cap flower? mine are forming buds at the moment.

I don't know Seaburngirl only green leaves just now.

It may be too young to flower this year--I've noticed the non-flowering stems of lilies are generally more prostrate than the flowering stems.

As it grows everyone I will update with fresh photos as it changes.
