For the past two years farmer has had cows in field adjacent to the house, our lovely beech hedge is no more. They are back in the field again is there anything we can do to prevent them eating it again this year? Can not put up an electric fence or any other barrier.

you could put some chicken wire over the farmers side so the cows cant get to it but moon grower is right i would have a word in the farmers shell like ear .
