I purchased an indian bean tree last year. I followed the instructions and planted it out. It came as a bare root tree with no leaves, just a stork. The instructions said not to worry about me as i am hibernating. Well i am still waiting for any sign of life, but the stork is still alive. Has anybody got any suggestions please.

I'm wondering how you know the stalk or trunk is still alive - these trees are not entirely hardy, so it's possible it died over the last harsh winter. If you're sure the mainstem is still alive, water thoroughly by leaving the hose running on a trickle at the base for at least an hour - you don't say where you are in the UK, so its difficult to judge how dry you may or may not have been there, but most of the country has had very little rain, and new trees need 2 gallons a week during dry spells for their first two years.
