Someone has ripped my tree out by the roots, the tree is only new, its a fruit tree. It hasnt much root left but Im desperate to save it.
Im no gardner, this is my first attempt at anything with soil so I need all the help I can get.....so far I have stuck the roots back into the pot that it came from, covered yp the soil with a little cotton sheeting and watered it with a small amount of water. Where do I go from here?
Thank you for your help

If you think it lost some of its roots when it was ripped out, repot into a slightly larger pot using fresh compost - keep well watered, out of hot sun (not in deep dark shade though) and tend it carefully in this way until it recovers and is obviously growing well - then plant it out if that's what you were going to do in the first place. Needs a bit of intensive care after such abuse, lol!

« Saw this bush type plant in NT garden anybody any idea what it is?
A few things ........
* If a plant's been stressed it would need a lot of water.
* Why have you put it in a pot and not back in the ground ?
* Can you take a picture and show us how much root is left ?
