Could you please give me tips on growing the best Rhubarb.

I live in South-West England.

Dig a hole about twice the size of the crown part fill with well rotted manure or compost place your crown in and fill up with more compost. Rather late in the year to be planting now usually done March time. Don't take any of the stems the first growing season much as you might be tempted to. Put some well rotted manure over the crown in winter to help feed. Then in early spring cover with an upturned bucket to 'force' the rhubarb, these will be the nicer sweeter stalks.
