Can I trim back a large beech hedge which is overhanging the gate way. It was pruned well end of last year but has put on long shoots. I only need to do one area.
Also it gets covered with a white fly , leaving sticky leaves, which fly all over when touched. I have removed a few leaves I noticed but as it is many yards long and high I am sure there is much more hidden away.
I would like to find soemthing to spray it with, I think nematodes could be expensive for the size of hedge, but might be more effective.
Any help most welcome.
