Hi, about five years ago I planted a corderline plant, as it grew it turned into the tree type - now at nearly 6ft high, unfortunatly due to the bad winter all the leaves have decayed and fallen off, leaving just the trunk! will any leaves re-grow, or is it dead?
Many thanks in advance. t.d.

You need to check the entire trunk from top to bottom - you're looking for soft, or blackened, or soggy, oozing areas. You'll probably find the tops are mushy or soft, but if there's any other areas which are similar, you must cut down beyond that point, even if its at the base. Then just wait - the plant may shoot and regrow from the roots or anywhere up any remaining trunk.
