Should I cut down the old daffodils and tulips

Answers

I would wait until at least 6 weeks after blooming. That allows the leaves to gather enough sun to support next year's flowers. Also feed it lightly until the leaves are gone, for even better bloom next year.

No. Let everything die down naturally because that is the best way of getting good flowering next year. A bit untidy for a while but worth it in the end.
