Hi. I asked for help a few weeks ago to identify this seedling which i had found growing in the border. Someone suggested it may be a type of cabbage, so god knows were that came from. Its a little bigger now and there appears to be a flower head forming. Is it still a cabbage or has it changed into something i actually want in the garden lol! -thanks

I still think it is probably rape or mustard but certainly looks like a brassica to me too.

Yes a brassica but it looks a bit leggy for oilseed rape in its first year. Nice, health cabbage though - keep it going.

Still looks like a brassica to me. Think of purple sprouting broccoli in the greengrocer's & compare it......
(!) Is your house in a rural situation? Rape is a brassica, it's grown all over the place and sometimes seeds escape.
