Dear Members.
Could any one please put a name to the attached plant.
It appeared on a stone at the edge of my pond.
It's looks like a mimulus, but the leaves are very waxy.
I look forward to any thoughts.
I've now added another picture af a Mimulas plant.
You can now see the differance in the leaves

According to Wikipedia there are about 150 species of Mimulus, so I reckon they're allowed some variation. It could be a different species from the one you're used to, with a very slight difference.

I glad that you are more clued up than me.
I'ts quite a pretty plant and now I know that there are so many variations I think I may well purchase some.
