Hi there and thanks for your reply.
Do agree about the skimmia not being pruned as its looking lovely and in good shape.
The magnolia is a stellata and that its in a good sized pot, however I'll have to get hubby to take a picture if that helps as it looks like it needs bushing out rather than go on looking leggy.
The daphne however has a label:Daphne odora Aureo-marginata and it flowers early.
