I did not prune my dwarf potted apple trees this year and as a result the branches of one of them are bowing heavily under the weight of the new fruits. I think the trees are 3 years old. What the best course of action?
Ideas:
Prune off all the buds and prune branches next year?
Support branches with canes and prune next year?
Prune branches now?

Pick off some fruit. The tree will sometimes do this as they call it the June drop, leave no more than two fruits together.
In the winter prune the branches then before the sap starts to rise in the early spring.
Dont prune now unless they are dead, damaged or diseased.
