When is the last chance to plant annual flowers...I'm based in Cambridge in the East of the Country...I'm going to chance my arm sowing Zinnias and Cosmos this evening. Do you think I'm too late? Thanks in advance.

As you have the seeds why not sow them and also plant some now and when they begin to look tired the others will be ready

No, but they'll be in flower much later, that's all, probably not before end of July at the earliest. Were it me, I'd go out and buy Zinnias and Cosmos - mine's in flower now in the garden.
