Hi i planted a fern type bracken plant which has crpt its roots right under our decking and now taking over and I dont want it anymore but cannot get to roots now as under the wood base

Hi i planted a fern type bracken plant which has crept its roots right under our decking and now taking over and I dont want it anymore but cannot get to roots now as under the wood base. Any advise on how to kill the plant as its everywhere. many thanks/ Pini

Can you dig out what you don't want?
If you have weed suppressing membrane under your decking that should keep it under control, if not , is it safe to spray? I use " round up " as a last resort, but as with all chemicals you do have to be very carefull.
