Has anyone ever had a present like this? Part of a B'day present from my son it is called SEEDBOMBS for BUTTERFLIES. The box contains, Clay powder, Compost, Seeds, labeling sticks, a pencil and and a rose attachment for a small watering can. I've just wondered if someone had this and whether there was success with the bomb making? Where my sons finds unusual presents I've no idea, all I know he bought this in London

I've heard of seed bombs. It's a technique used by Guerilla Gardeners to get plants going on places they can't reach - maybe on a plot with high fences, or somewhere you can't stop so you throw the seed bomb out of the car window as someone drives you past that ugly roundabout for instance.

Where are you going to Guerilla,Titchy?

someone seed bombed a round about near to use and the plants outcompeted the wildflowers that were there. very irresponsible really.

My daughter got me seedbombs two years ago. we had great fun using them in the wild part of the garden. The flowers were not what I would have chosen though.
