i bought a minature plum and cherry tree 2 years ago, that were suitable to put on patio in containers, for the last 2 years, they have both had lots of blossom on them, but then the blossom has fallen of and have been left with no further growth, any ideas?

If they weren't allowed to dry out during bloom or soon after, it is probably lack of pollination with a suitable variety.
