I threw a load of lentils, aduki beans, chick peas and black beans in an experimental bed and they have all come up. I have so many I wondered can I eat the leaves/ plants as well as the pods?

For Lentils, you can only eat the lenitils inside the pods - not the pods or the plant (inedible). I tried this last year but the harvest is not really worth the effort - about 2-3 lentils per pod and about 15 pods per plant!
Not sure about the others (good gardening you did though!)
