I have a 1 year Eupatorium purpureum and something seems to be eating it! I found a curled leave with a bug in it, but not sure if thats the culprit. Has anyone got any suggestions please.

Is the bug a caterpillar, or an unmoving cylindrical lacquered looking thing? It may be a leaf roller caterpillar. It hides in its "house" during the day, and comes out at night to nosh on your plants. Many other leaf chewers also work at night. It might be a good idea to go out at night with a flashlight and see if you can catch the culprit in the act.
