My runner beans have grown about a foot above their 8 foot canes. Should I take the tops off to stop them going any higher or let them come back down the canes?
Thanks.

« my rhubarb plant keeps spreading when is the best time to cut it back.
Often they start to grow across and make a dense top to the row or wigwam. I normally leave them alone and let them get on with it.
