A White campion plant has come up in my new border. It's quite pretty really but as it's a weed should I take it out? Will it spread or create any problems if I leave it?

If you like it leave it. If it produces too many seedlings next year they're easy to get out. I grow campion (bladder campion and red campion) in my garden. You could remove most of the seed pods after flowering but before they open.

Thank you. I might just leave it this season and see how it looks.

I have a pink campion, it appeared in a pot probably the wind blew the seeds so I'll leave it there, looks nice and I can plant bulbs around it. I don't want it in the garden but haven't got the heart to get rid of it ~ it's sooo long flowering

Campion goes mad round here and it is definitely a weed in the flower beds but lovely on the wild banks. Things are only weeds if you don't want them so if you like it keep it. The white ones are much rarer than the pink ones.

...unless its bladder campion, which is much shorter and is always white...
