Sorry, Sanremo, it's only hardy to zone 9, and Massachusetts is much too cold for it to survive the winter. I would grow it in a generous pot, plunge the pot into the ground in winter, take the pot up in the fall, and store it somewhere cool, but frost free through the winter.
